Shell Tent

Shell Tent

1. Preparation and site selection

  • Preparation of tools and materials: Check the tent, poles, ground stakes, ropes, and moisture-proof sheet (if available) and make sure all parts are included.

  • Select a suitable site: Choose a flat and dry place. Choose a place away from low ground and obstacles, pay attention to the wind direction and face the entrance of the tent downwind.

2. Laying the moisture-proof sheet and unfolding the tent

  • Laying the moisture-proof sheet (if available): If you have a moisture-proof sheet, lay it flat on the ground. This will prevent moisture from the ground.

  • Unfolding the tent: Take out the tent and lightly unfold it. Check whether the skylight part is fully open or closed, and if there are creases, stretch them out with your hands to make them flat.

3. Installation and fixing of the poles

  • Installation of the poles: Connect the poles and insert them into the sleeves of the tent. Adjust the angle to make the tent stable and make sure the skylight is firmly connected.

  • Fixing the bottom of the tent: Use ropes and ground stakes to fix the four corners of the tent. The ground stakes are driven into the ground at a 45-degree angle and firmly fixed so that the tent does not move.

4. Setting the skylight and vents

  • Installing the skylight (if available): Make sure the skylight is installed correctly and check that it is waterproof. If there is a light-shielding cover, install it if necessary.

  • Setting the vents (if available): Open the vents and adjust their size to allow sufficient air circulation. If there is an insect net, check its condition and make sure it is not damaged.

5. Final check and how to enjoy the starry sky

  • How to enjoy the starry sky: Relax and enjoy the beautiful starry sky. If you are using the skylight at night, prepare warm clothes.

  • Final check: Check that all parts are firmly fixed and that the tent is sealed and stable.

6. Dismantling and storage

  • Dismantling and storage: When dismantling, proceed in the reverse order. Remove the ground stakes and ropes, remove the poles, fold the tent and put it in a bag. Make sure the tent is dry before storing.

Safety Precautions: Avoid using the product on days with strong winds or heavy rain. If the product is not used for a long period of time, store it in a dry place and check the parts regularly.
